Folks, keep a close eye on your accounts for the next few days. It seems that there have been some billing issues with Mythic's billing vendor, and people have been charged multiple times, irrespective of whether or not they were due to renew or (allegedly) even subscribed.
The community of gamers being what it is, the hyperbole is pretty thick on the forums right now, but Mythic does acknowledge that there is an issue

This issue has not yet impacted me or Meghey, and I hope that is true for the rest of you as well.
:::::UPDATE 4/21::::::
Mythic has issued their official letter of apology and announced some major XP and renown bonuses. The letter can be found here

I hope that those that were effected by this have had their issues resolved satisfactorily.
:::::UPDATE 2::::::::::
Point of clarification. It seems that dyes, mounts etc will only be available to those that were effected. The wording in the apology led people (myself included) to believe that these were going to be available to all current subscribers. Follow this thread for the latest

Thank heavens I wasn't hit by this, but my billing is set to 180 days, and not monthly, I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

We switched ours over to a pre-paid CC gift card with a $0 balance remaining after the subscription charge, and will continue to use that method for payment. This is the 2nd time that this has occurred that I know of, so no more chances for us. |

Been watching this because many over in the Tuatha family of guilds have been hit with this, but this is more rampant with monthly than with others. I think the multi-month that got hit were the ones that were due this week when they did the billing mistake. I fortunately was not hit, but I'll be watching next week since that is when my mulit-month subcription is due. However, from what I've heard from a great deal of those hit, it was corrected quickly and Mythic even communicated well with those involved. So, a big snafoo on their part, but I haven't heard yet of someone bamboozled by this and not corrected in short order.
